<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new electrostatic coating apparatus that can coat a large scale object to be coated without pinholes. <P>SOLUTION: The coating apparatus is composed of: a cylindrical part in which a gas flow is formed in one direction; a first nozzle for jetting a coating liquid in the cylindrical part; and a second nozzle for jetting a second liquid in the cylindrical part. The apparatus jets the coating liquid and the second liquid while applying voltage to the first and second nozzles so that a mixture of the coating liquid and the second liquid in the cylindrical part is electrostatically atomized to form a misty coating material which is sprayed on the object to be coated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
