[Problem] Recess strength must be ensured when forming a recess that stores an electric power storage device in a vehicle body. [Solution] A structure for mounting an electric power storage device includes: the electric power storage device, the vehicle body, first reinforcements (41), and second reinforcements (42). The electric power storage device outputs the energy used in running a vehicle. The vehicle body includes a recess (121) that opens towards a top of the vehicle. The recess stores the electric power storage device. The first reinforcements (41) are disposed along a bottom surface of the recess, and extend in a predetermined direction. The second reinforcements (42) are disposed along an upper surface of the electric power storage device, and extend in the predetermined direction.
