<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skeleton attaching part protector for protecting a skeleton attaching part from extreme heat and a building material including it. <P>SOLUTION: The skeleton attaching part protector includes a protective material and a cover, the protective material is screwed to a skeleton and has a covering part for covering a skeleton attaching part of an opening building material attached to a skeleton opening from the front side, and the cover covers the skeleton attaching part and the protective material from the front side. Also, the protective material includes a refractory material, and the refractory material is made to foam by heat upon a fire and cover the skeleton attaching part. Further, the protective material and the cover are screwed to the skeleton with a screw for attaching the protector.
