The invention is based on the fact that, over the lower portion of the mast (2) for a wind turbine (1) there are lateral reinforcement elements (7, or 7') connected by the upper part thereof to the actual mast (2) and by the lower part thereof to the corresponding foundation base (6), establishing a gap (8) between the reinforcement elements (7, or 7') and the actual mast (2), said separation increasing progressively from the connection of the upper part of the reinforcement elements (7, or 7') to the mast (2) and the anchoring of the lower end of said reinforcement elements (7, or 7') to the foundation base (6), thereby providing a way in which to strengthen the lower portion of wind-turbine masts (2), which are subject to high stresses, with minimum weight and with the consequent economic saving in terms of material and costs. |
