The invention relates to a cable feedthrough (10) for a pressure-proof enclosure (11). The cable feedthrough (10) comprises a feedthrough body (12) for attachment in a wall opening (15) of the pressure-proof enclosure (11). A through-opening (23) for feeding through at least one electric cable (24) is provided in the feedthrough body (12). The cable feedthrough (19) further comprises a pressure compensating device (25), which is preferably formed by an ignition puncture resistant pressure compensating opening (26). The pressure compensating device (25) is an integral part of the cable feedthrough (10). This results not only in a cable feedthrough for electrical cables (24) via the wall opening (15) of the pressure-proof enclosure (11), but also in pressure compensation between the pressure inside the enclosure (11) and the surroundings of the enclosure (11). Additional separate pressure compensating means of the pressure-proof enclosure (11) can thus be eliminated.
