<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting circuit capable of being treated with safety by quickly stepping down an output voltage in the case that there is no input voltage from a commercial power supply and the like. <P>SOLUTION: An LED lighting circuit converting an input voltage into a desired DC voltage and supplying the DC voltage to an LED, has: a transformer having at least a primary coil and a secondary coil; a switching element; a controller; an output capacitor; an input voltage detector; and a discharger. The input voltage detector detects the input voltage, and outputs to the discharger a discharge signal depending on a level of the detected input voltage. The discharger is connected to both ends of the output capacitor, and discharges electric charge accumulated in the output capacitor depending on the discharge signal outputted from the input voltage detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
