<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for washing and dehydrating oxidized pulp which can efficiently remove an N-oxyl compound from oxidized pulp obtained by using the N-oxyl compound as an oxidation catalyst and further concentrate the oxidized pulp to a high solid concentration. <P>SOLUTION: The N-oxyl compound is removed from the oxidized pulp and the oxidized pulp is highly concentrated by the steps of: placing the oxidized pulp in a condition of pH of less than 5 and a temperature of lower than 40°C; and then washing and dehydrating the oxidized pulp. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
