<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device whose power consumption is reduced by adaptively changing the sensitivity setting of a touch panel and the like because, in conventional electronic devices, the sensitivity setting of a touch panel and the like is not always proper even if a user makes the setting, and power consumption of a driver of a touch panel and the like is increased when the sensitivity is set too high. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device includes: an operation detection unit for detecting user operation when an object comes into contact therewith or is adjacent thereto; a storage unit for storing sensitivity setting used by the operation detection unit to detect operation and successively storing operation performed to the operation detection unit as operation information; and a control unit for adaptively changing the sensitivity setting on the basis of the operation information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
