摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat storage performance of a heat storage tank in a cooling device that includes a heat storage capsule filled with latent heat storage material, and uses variable specific heat cooling water whose specific heat has a greater value than that of specific heat outside a predetermined temperature range in the predetermined temperature range. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling device includes: a cooling circuit through which cooling water for heat transfer between an internal combustion engine and the cooling circuit circulates; a heat storage tank for introducing a part of the cooling water flowed out from the internal combustion engine from the cooling circuit and storing the cooling water, and releasing the stored cooling water to the cooling circuit; and a prevention means for preventing a heat storage capsule from being released into the cooling circuit when the cooling water is released into the cooling circuit from the heat storage tank, wherein the release of the heat storage capsule into the cooling circuit to the heat storage tank is prevented when heat is stored in the heat storage tank from the cooling water circulating through the cooling circuit, and the release of the heat storage capsule into the cooling circuit from the heat storage tank is permitted when the heat is released to the cooling water circulating through the cooling circuit from the heat storage tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
