<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device capable of, when adding pixel signals of vertical n pixels and horizontal n pixels where n is an even number, uniformly controlling the spatial positions of the added pixels. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel 25 has a photoelectric conversion part 21, a reset part 24, a reading part 23 and a signal accumulation part 22. A solid-state imaging device 3 has adding means 28 that adds pixel signals accumulated in plural pixels 25. The plural pixels 25 includes a main pixel group 26 constituted of plural pixels 25. The main pixel group 26 includes plural sub pixel groups each including a first sub pixel group 271 which has the same number of plural pixels 25. The solid-state imaging device 3 controls the exposure time of the pixel 25 by independently controlling at least one of the reset part 24 and the reading part 23 in the plural pixels 25 included in the same sub pixel group so that the exposure time of the plural pixels 25 included in the same sub pixel group is at least two types or more.
