<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reproduction device capable of restoring the connection with a content server disconnected from a wireless network to resume the reproduction of a piece of suspended content. <P>SOLUTION: The content reproduction device receives a piece of content from a content server connected with a wireless network and performs streaming reproduction of a piece of received content. The content reproduction device includes: a storage 31 that stores a piece of content server information and a piece of content meta-information obtained from the content server upon a start of reproduction of the content and a piece of suspended position information obtained upon a suspension of the reproduction of the content; and a server connection restoring section 30 that, when the connection with the content server is impossible at restoring the reproduction of the content, provides means for prompting a user to reset the content reproduction device to a reconnectable state and establishes the connection with the content server.
