<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in accessing a memory device and also response performance to a host device. <P>SOLUTION: A memory device 1 has a non-volatile memory 11 for writing and reading data in multiple cells as one unit, and a controller 12 for controlling the memory and managing memory space of the memory by dividing it into multiple partitions. The controller 12 divides a data size of written data (S13) when data writing is requested, and requests data to be written in a second partition LU2 which is separately managed so as to receive the data to be written (S14) while data writing is being performed in a first partition LU1 which is separately managed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
