<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small component feeder capable of stably feeding a small component to a prescribed holding position of a chuck, wherein the chuck holds the fed small component and opens to release the holding of the small component to set it to a workpiece side when welding the small component to the workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: The small component feeder 65 opens the chuck 9 holding the small component N to be welded to the workpiece at the time of welding so as to release holding of the small component, and feeds the small component to the small component holding position HP of the chuck. The chuck is provided with a transfer path 9a allowing the small component to be transferred from an inlet port 9d to the holding position HP. The small component feeder 65 is provided with a feed chute 70 having a feed port 73 to be connected to the inlet port and capable of transferring the small component to the transfer path, an air source feeding air into the feed chute so that the small component can be pressure-fed to the holding position HP side, and a pusher 80 disposed near the feed port and moving a pressing part 81 to the holding position side, pressing the small component fed by the air against the holding position HP, thereby stopping the small component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
