<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb type lighting device capable of facilitating wiring works on a light-emitting body and effectively emitting heat generated from the light-emitting body. <P>SOLUTION: A bulb type lighting device 10 includes a light-emitting body 12 having LEDs 11, a cover member 15 for covering the light-emitting body 12, a radiator 20 for mounting an opening end 16 of the cover member 15 and emitting heat generated from the light-emitting body 12, a power source circuit board 35 for supplying designated power to the light-emitting body 12, a storage case 39 for storing the power source circuit board 35, and a base for supplying commercial power source to the power source circuit board 35. The radiator 20 has a light-emitting body mounting section 22 for mounting the light-emitting body 12, and a cylindrical body section 23 formed separately from and connected to the light-emitting body mounting section 22.
