<p>The present disclosures pertain to an information processing device, information processing method, program, and electronic apparatus that are able to precisely recognize the position, movement, and the like of an object that is considered to be skin. An LED unit has a first LED, which radiates light of a first wavelength, and a second LED, which radiates light of a second wavelength that differs from the first wavelength. A phase detector (PD) generates a first detection signal in response to having received reflected light from the object to which light of the first wavelength has been radiated, and generates a second detection signal in response to having received reflected light from the object to which light of the second wavelength has been radiated. Also, a processing unit detects whether the object is skin on the basis of the first and second detection signals, and generates recognition information for recognizing the position and/or motion of the object detected as skin on the basis of the first and/or second detection signals. The present disclosures can be applied, for example, to an electronic apparatus for recognizing gestures or the like of objects considered to be skin.</p> |
