<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery having enhanced input and output characteristics, and to provide a battery pack. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode for nonaqueous electrolyte battery including a collector, and an active material layer placed on the collector is provided. The active material layer contains a monoclinic system β type titanium composite oxide. The electrode has an intensity ratio of peak I(020)/I(001) obtained by powder X-ray diffraction using a Cu-Kα ray source, and satisfying the following formula (I): 0.6≤I(020)/I(001)≤1.2. In the formula (I), I(020) represents the intensity of a peak derived from the (020) plane of the monoclinic system β type titanium composite oxide, and I(001) represents the intensity of a peak derived from the (001) plane of the monoclinic system β type titanium composite oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
