<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve that surely improves the valve-opening responsiveness and the valve-closing responsiveness. <P>SOLUTION: The sum total of passage cross-sectional areas of communication passages 53 provided in a movable core 36 and communicating an inter-core space 52 with a fuel passage 322 is set larger than the cross-sectional area of a clearance 54 formed between the inner peripheral surface 351 of a fixed core 35 and the outer peripheral surface 271 of a stopper 27 of a needle 14. When the needle 14 and the movable core 36 are moved from the valve-closing position to the fully-opened position of a nozzle hole 25, fuel in the inter-core space 52 is made to flow out to the fuel passage 322 via the communication passages 53 whose passage cross-sectional area is larger than that of the clearance 54. When the needle 14 and the movable core 36 are moved from the fully-opened position to the valve-closing position of the nozzle hole 25, fuel in the fuel passage 322 is made to flow into the inter-core space 52 via the communication passages 53 whose passage cross-sectional area is larger than that of the clearance 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
