<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering apparatus capable of inexpensively preventing backlash between a threaded shaft of a tilt mechanism and a nut member with a small number of components and easily assembling the threaded shaft and the nut member. <P>SOLUTION: This steering apparatus includes: the threaded shaft whose vehicle-body rear side end is swingably supported to a main housing and which is rotated by driving by a motor; and the nut member 50 moving in an axial direction according to rotation of the threaded shaft. The nut member 50 includes: a female threaded portion 51 threading the threaded shaft; and a pivot shaft portion 52 having a rotational axis orthogonal to the female threaded portion 51 and two flat surface portions parallel to the rotational axis and facing each other with a prescribed distance. Bearing portions (423, 424) for rotatably supporting the pivot shaft portion 52 are provided at the other end of a link mechanism. A spring member (a curved washer 71) is arranged between the bearing portions (423, 424) and flat surface portions of the female threaded portion 51, and the female threaded portion 51 is pressed in a direction orthogonal to the threaded shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
