<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spike tire implanted with spikes having pins in spike implanting holes formed on a tread surface of a pneumatic tire, capable of improving running performance, particularly braking performance of an ice road surface while suppressing spike's coming-out properties. <P>SOLUTION: In the spike tire is formed at least at a part of a tread surface of a pneumatic tire and includes spikes with pins struck into spike striking holes having a distribution at least in a tire width direction. pins adjacent to each other in the tire width direction have the width of the pin positioned on the tire equator side in the tire width direction not more than the width of the remaining pin in the tire width direction, and the width of the pin at such a position which keeps a distance from the tire equator in the tire width direction minimum smaller than the width of the pin at such a position as to keep a distance from the tire equator in the tire width direction maximum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
