PASTE COATING DEVICE AND PASTE COATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste coating device and a paste coating method capable of maintaining the coating height of a glass paste suitably within a predetermined error range.

SOLUTION: A nozzle 55a moves while setting the nozzle height Nh lower than a reference coating height StdH from the start point Ps of the nozzle 55a to a portion forming a starting end 101S, moves while setting the nozzle height Nh higher than the reference coating height StdH in a portion forming a termination end 101E up to the end point Pe of the nozzle 55a, and moves while setting the nozzle height Nh equal to the reference coating height StdH in a portion other than the portion forming the starting end 101S and the portion forming the termination end 101E. Furthermore, the nozzle 55a moves so that a glass paste Gp is applied while overlapping in at least a part of the starting end 101S and the termination end 101E.
