The present invention provides an unmanned crane control apparatus and a control method thereof ,comprising; a crane operation unit provided in one side of a crane to operate the crane; a coil transfer unit provided on the other side of a crane to transfer present coils to a desired position; a coil sensing means to perform communication with the crane operation unit and sense transfer speeds, heights and at least one of the patterns of the present coil,; a coil determining means to determine whether a transfer speed, a height and at least one of the patterns of the present coil sensed through the coil sensing means are within a preset range of transfer speeds, heights and at least one of the patterns of a reference coil; and a crane control unit to stop operation of the crane operation unit when a transfer speed, a height and at least one of the patterns of the present coil determined through the coil determining means are with a range of transfer speeds, heights and at least one of the patterns of the reference coil. |
