<p>A bracket for supporting a façade wall panel having a base portion 3 and a protruding portion 5 comprises fibre-reinforced polymer material optionally with intumescent filler. The protruding portion has a slot 27 defined by a fixing member and a gripping member so that a facade panel mounting member can be temporarily supported prior to accurate positioning and fixing using apertures 17. Also claimed is a bracket with base and protruding portions, where at least a major portion of the protruding portion comprises a fibre-reinforced polymer with intumescent filler.
