PURPOSE:To correct a misoperation of an operator with a mechanical operation by switching the operation to a record mode of a U mode simultaneously with operation of the record mode through a mechanical contact operation between a mode selection mechanism and a record mode mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A invertible tape recorder 1 consists of a mode selection mechanism 2, a record mode mechanism 2', a miserasion preventing pawl detection mechanism 3, a tape driving direction mechanism 4 and a fast forward/rewind mode switching mechanism 5. The mechanism 2' contains a record mode detection lever 30, an interlocking member 33 and a switching rod 34. When the mechanism 2' is operated while a repetition mode is selected by the mechanism 2, the mechanism 2 interlocks mechanically the record mode setting operation of the mechanism 2'. Thus the operation is forcibly switched to a reverse mode by the repetition mode. |
