A combined table and chair assembly comprises a collapsible structure which, when erect, is used to suspend hanging chairs 18 from a number of chair supporting jibs 7 around a table 17 and a base that provides a stable platform for the collapsible structure to be sited on soft ground without it sinking into the ground. The table and chairs are supported by a central mast assembly 3 where the mast assembly is supported by mast legs 4, base legs 4 and a mast hub assembly 11. When the structure is collapsed, the legs and jibs fold in towards the central mast assembly. Each chair jib has a jib lock assembly (8, Fig 8A) which is hinged horizontally on the chair supporting jib and held in place by a jib tie assembly (84, Fig 8A). |
