PURPOSE: A multimedia device is provided to reduce a load of an operation system device in the multimedia device when high-resolution and high-density image is decoded, thereby stabilizing a system. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia signal processing device(110) decodes data, which is inputted from the outside, based on an operating system and outputs the data as a first multimedia signal. An ODD(Optical Disk Drive) device(120) decodes data by obtaining the data from an optical disk and outputs the data as a second multimedia signal. An output switch(130) receives the first multimedia signal and the second multimedia signal and selectively outputs the same. The first multimedia signal and the second multimedia signal satisfy the display interface specification. The multimedia signal processing device, the ODD device, and the output switch are mounted into a housing.
