The present invention refers to a motor-generator, which operation principle is the conservation of the inertia movement by altering the balance conditions of a body mounted over an axis (2) and in favourable displacing conditions as this generator is mounted over sliding bushings (5) and using the force of gravity, remembering that the flywheel (1) behaves similar to a cat chasing its tale, thus the invention rotating in a constant manner for locating its centre of mass which is located in the element AV (2), and as long as the AV (2) is in motion the flywheel will follow the same, thus delivering power through the axis. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a generator and motor totally different from those currently available on the market since it has a novel inner mechanism which main characteristic is that it provides potential energy contained in materials preferably solid and heavy in minimal stages of transformation and with a reduced number of components in orde r to deliver clean and renewable energy.
