PURPOSE: A power control device for a remote monitoring system is provided to facilitate the generation of operating power by including a UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) which supplies power to an image processing device. CONSTITUTION: A power state sensing part(50) senses the state of an AC power source. The AC power source is applied to a UPS. A control part(34) controls the image processing of an image processor. The control part outputs a power activating control signal. A power supply part(40) generates operating power by the power activating control signal.
