PURPOSE: A snake-shaped exploration robot and a driving method thereof are provided to easily secure a clear view and a working environment. CONSTITUTION: A snake-shaped exploration robot comprises a head part(100) and a body part(200). The body part includes two or more parts and, a joint part(700) connects between the parts. The head part acquires and processes outside images and includes an image acquirement device and an image storage part.
