A textile inspection method is provided to solve problems in using a line CCD and an area CCD, and to reduce information processing load of image data, and to reduce cost of an optical device by image processing. A textile inspection method by image processing comprises the steps of separating a value of a background screen by scanning a threshold value of an image detected from an image recognizing device including a line CCD camera, obtaining RGB layer output while color images are processed and converting the output into gray scales of 256 levels, selecting only a signal corresponding to a processing region(ROI) by using an area CCD camera and sending the selected signal to a central processing unit, comparing the processing region signal with the background screen by the central processing unit, and sending an error signal when any one of R, G, and B arrays is erroneous as a result of the comparison. |
