<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of preventing liquid refrigerant accumulated in an outdoor heat exchanger of a stopped outdoor unit from collecting in an operated outdoor unit and overflowing from an accumulator of the outdoor unit, in switching from a cooling operation or a cooling-based operation to a heating operation or a heating-based operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the outdoor unit including a compressor 21a, the outdoor heat exchanger 23a, a four-way valve 22a connected to one end of the outdoor heat exchanger and switching connection to a refrigerant outlet or a refrigerant inlet of the compressor, and the accumulator 24a, a connection port of the outdoor heat exchanger and a connection pipe is positioned higher than a connection port of the accumulator and a connection pipe, with respect to the connection pipe 36a and the connection pipe 37a connecting the outdoor heat exchanger and the accumulator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
