<p>Provided is an indwelling catheter which offers excellent operability without the need for an increased size, while also being capable of being connected several times. The indwelling catheter (10) is provided with: a hollow catheter base (14), which has a distal end and a posterior end, the posterior end of which can receive and connect a male connector (24) inserted from the exterior of the posterior end side; a tube (12) provided to the distal end of the catheter base (14); a flexible hemostasis valve (16) disposed inside the catheter base (14); a pusher (18) disposed to the rear of the hemostasis valve (16); and a pusher guide (20) disposed between the pusher (18) and the inner wall of the catheter base (14). The pusher (18) has a hollow structure, and has a taper that decreases in diameter toward the distal end of the pusher (18). The pusher guide (20) is a structure capable of regulating the position of the pusher (18) at either a first position, where the pusher (18) does not push out on the hemostasis valve (16), or a second position where the taper of the pusher (18) is positioned inside the hemostasis valve (16) and pushes out on the hemostasis valve (16).</p> |
