<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine and a facsimile communication system which will not lose facsimile communication contents even if power supply to a receiving side facsimile machine is cut off. <P>SOLUTION: If power supply to a receiving side facsimile machine 10b is supposed to be cut off during a certain time period by outage, the receiving side facsimile machine 10b transmits outage information to a transmitting side facsimile device 10a. The transmitting side facsimile machine 10a normally performs facsimile transmission to the receiving side facsimile device 10b, but will perform facsimile transmission to an alternative destination facsimile machine 10c with an alternative destination facsimile number during outage by the notified outage information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
