<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for transition between a 3G system and an LTE system, and to reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A user terminal that can communicate according to a wireless communication method of a first wireless communication system and a wireless communication method of a second wireless communication system, has: a measurement band designation part designating a band whose communication quality is to be measured, on the basis of information representing a frequency band operated by the second wireless communication system, the information being reported by a first base station corresponding to the first wireless communication system; a cell search controller performing control for measuring the communication quality of the designated band; a transition band setting part setting a transition band on the basis of whether or not the communication quality of the band that was measured according to the control is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold; and a cell transition controller performing control for transition to the band that was set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
