PURPOSE: A method for providing a service to a terminal in a wireless communication system and a device therefor are provided to change a priority of a specific frequency when the terminal does not exist within an MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) area. CONSTITUTION: A terminal of an RRC(Radio Resource Control) idle state acquires system information from a selected first cell(S801,S802). When a user desires to receive an MBMS, the terminal sets priority orders related to corresponding frequencies(S803,S804). The terminal receives an MCCH(Multimedia broadcast multicast service Control Channel) from a selected second cell and MBMS data through an MTCH(Multicast Traffic Channel) by using the acquired control information(S805-S807).
