<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a situation that light is condensed on a recording medium by using a behavior of the recording medium when transportation of the recording medium is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fixing device includes a light source 131 for radiating laser light, a condensing optical system 132 for condensing the laser light, and support rollers 133 and 134. The support roller 134 has a larger brake force than the support roller 133 when the transportation of the recording medium 30 is stopped. In this configuration, when transportation abnormality of the recording medium 30 occurs and the transportation of the recording medium 30 is stopped at downstream side in the optical fixing device, the support roller 133 feeds out the recording medium 30 larger than the support roller 134 until it stops, thereby causing sagging in the recording medium 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
