<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-diameter hollow porus membrane having an excellent mechanical property and also having excellent water permeability of a hollow part, and to provide a support body for the same, which is used for the production of the same and is hard to be crushed even in time of the membrane production. <P>SOLUTION: This support body 10 for the small-diameter hollow porus membrane is obtained by performing heat treatment of a cylindrical knitted cord obtained by circularly knitting yarn at a temperature of the melting temperature of the yarn or below, and has a ratio (r/R) of 0.55-0.73, wherein the thickness of the support body is L; the outside diameter is R; and r=R-2. By using the support body 10, the hollow porus membrane excellent in the mechanical property and the water permeability of the hollow part can be produced without being accompanied by a problem wherein the support body 10 is crushed in time of the membrane production, or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
