<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device where stray capacitance occurring between the piezoelectric device and a mounted substrate is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric device (100) mounted on a mounted substrate (150) comprises: a piezoelectric vibration piece (130) having an excitation electrode (131) and an extraction electrode (132) extracted from the excitation electrode; and a base plate (120) which has a first surface on which the piezoelectric vibration piece is placed and a second surface having external electrodes (125, 126) on the opposite side of the first surface and is made of an insulative material. At least a part of a region on the second surface which excludes the external electrodes are recessed to the first surface side and a gap is formed between the mounted substrate and the second surface recessed to the first surface side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
