<p>Provided is an electronic device which is compatible with USB standards and in which data writing to a BIOS-ROM is possible. A BIOS storage unit (15) of an electronic device (10) is connected to a USB 3.0 extension unit (132) of a USB 3.0 host connector (13). A microcomputer (21) of a USB compatible device (20) is connected to a USB 3.0 extension unit (232) of a USB 3.0 device connector (23). The microcomputer (21) of the USB compatible device (20) can perform data writing and reading to and from the BIOS storage unit (15) of the electronic device (10) through the USB 3.0 extension units (232, 132). Further, the microcomputer (21) of the USB compatible device (20) compares the data read from the BIOS storage unit (15) of the electronic device (10) with the data stored in a storage unit (211), and issues notification of a result of the comparison.</p> |
