<p>A liquid crystal display device (10) according to the present invention comprises: LEDs (22); an LED substrate (24) to which the LEDs (22) are attached; a liquid crystal panel (11) which carries out a display using the light from the LEDs (22); a light guide plate (16) which is positioned to overlap with the side of the liquid display panel (11) opposite the display face side thereof, the end face thereof being positioned opposite the LEDs (22); a chassis (14) which is positioned on the opposite side of the light guide plate (16) from the liquid crystal panel (11) side thereof; a frame (13) which is positioned on the display face side of the liquid crystal panel (11) and which houses, together with the chassis (14), the LEDs (22), the LED substrate (24), the liquid crystal panel (11), and the light guide plate (16); and a heat radiating member (18) which has heat radiating properties, is positioned in contact with the LED substrate (24), and is retained by being sandwiched between the frame (13) and the chassis (14).</p> |
