<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a waiting time until a start of image formation after an input of an instruction for copying for the second time or later when successively performing a plurality of times of copying. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus controls a heat source 55 so as to bring a temperature of a heating member 51 to be closer to a first temperature in fixing an image. When image formation that has been performed at last is image formation based on image data created by a reading unit 2, the image forming apparatus controls the heat source 55 so as to keep the temperature of the heating member 51 in a waiting state after completion of the image formation to be lower than the first temperature, and to bring closer to a second temperature higher than a temperature when the heating member 51 is not heated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
