<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a centrifugal pump while arbitrarily selecting a favorable operation water amount range by arbitrarily changing a water amount of the highest efficiency by combining one casing and one impeller, and to perform stable operation by rotating the impeller at favorable balance. <P>SOLUTION: A centrifugal pump comprises: an impeller 12 which is connected to a rotating shaft 46 and rotates; a casing 30 which has a discharge port 30b and accommodates the impeller 12 therein; a casing cover 34 which tightly seals an opening of the casing 30; a guide plate 54 which has a plurality of sets of passages 62a, 62b, and 64a, 64b located in positions which substantially coincide with each other when rotated at prescribed angles, and penetrate the impeller side and the casing side, and is arranged concentrically with the impeller 12 in the casing 30 so that a guide passage 60 communicating with the discharge port 30b may be formed between the casing 30 and itself; and a closing member 70 which closes the other passage at the impeller side while leaving one set of passages in the plurality of sets of passages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
