<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collating apparatus that places sheet bundles on a plurality of arranged paper feed parts, respectively, and stacks each of the sheets taken out from each paper feed part to form a collated bundle, while reducing time and effort when only a specific sheet is included only in the bundles smaller than the total number of collated bundles, when the total number of collated bundles is input into the collating apparatus for collation. <P>SOLUTION: An arbitrary paper feed part of the collating apparatus is specified, and a specific count number setting means specific to the specified paper feed part is provided.
