<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power steering controller that prevents an abrupt change when a steering state is changed without delaying a peak phase of a correction amount with respect to an assist torque. <P>SOLUTION: A steering control part 20 generates a steering gain G0 which is selectively switched when a driver cuts the wheel or turns the wheel back, converts the steering gain G0 to a dimensionless quantity G0' for rate limiting, and corrects a basic assist torque Tb on the basis of the rate-limited steering gain G to calculate a final assist torque Ta. An abrupt change is prevented when a steering state is changed, without delaying a peak phase of the assist correction amount ΔTa with respect to the basic assist torque Tb. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
