<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can enjoy the reduction effect of hysteresis loss by simplifying tire construction by eliminating the bead filler without generating a local strain in an area concerned even when the bead filler is eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire (1) has a carcass (6) comprising: a pair of bead parts where bead cores (2) are embedded; a body (6a); and a folded part (6b) that is directly wrapped around the bead core from inside the tire width direction to the outside. The bead core (2) is formed by piling bead wires (8) in a plurality of rows in the tire width direction and a plurality of steps in the tire radial direction. The number of steps of rows inside the tire width direction of mutually adjacent rows is more than the number of steps of rows outside the tire width direction, and the large diameter row (L) having the maximum number of steps extends outside of the tire radial direction along the body (6a), and the terminal (6bE) of the folded part exceeds at least the tire radial direction outermost edge (P) of the row of the outermost side in the tire width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
