<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device capable of suppressing an operation amount and assigning a wireless channel to a user so that a multi-user diversity effect is easily obtained. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an allocation part 104 of a wireless communication device 100 derives an unassigned wireless channel by which the maximum communication quality can be obtained as a first wireless channel for each user, calculates a first metric corresponding to a communication state by using the communication quality in the first wireless channel, selects one user from a plurality of users on the basis of the first metric, and assigns the first wireless channel to the selected user.
