摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine particle manufacturing method by a jet granulation method for maintaining high stability of discharge of a liquid containing a fine particle component, and obtaining fine particles that have narrow particle size distribution, and to provide a fine particle manufacturing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The fine particle manufacturing apparatus includes: a droplet discharge means 2 that has a vibration generating means for imparting the vibration to a liquid column resonance liquid chamber, into which a toner component liquid 14 that becomes toner when its droplets solidify is introduced, and the toner component liquid 14 in the liquid column resonance liquid chamber; and a drying collection unit 60 that solidifies the droplets 21 discharged from the droplet discharge means 2. The droplet discharge means 2 has: a droplet discharge operation mode to impart the vibration to the toner component liquid 14 in the liquid column resonance liquid chamber by the vibration generating means to form a standing wave by the liquid column resonance, and continuously discharge the toner component liquid 14 as droplets from discharge holes formed in a region that is an antinode of the standing wave; and a minute driving operational mode to vibrate the liquid surface of the toner component liquid 14 in the discharge hole by the vibration generating means prior to the droplet discharge operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
