<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear unit that can reliably reduce gear noise emitted from a case while achieving a size reduction. <P>SOLUTION: In the planetary gear unit in which a ring gear 22 is fixed to a transmission case 11, the ring gear 22 is fixed to an intermediate wall 12a via a ring gear flange 25 which is prevented from rotating with respect to the intermediate wall 12a by a rotation prevention mechanism 36c. The rotation prevention mechanism 36c includes a plurality of press-fitting holes 12c on the concentric circle in the intermediate wall 12a, pin insertion holes 26 provided in the ring gear flange 25 at positions corresponding to the press-fitting holes 12c, and a pin 60 fitted into the press-fitting holes 12c and pin insertion holes 26 to prevent rotation of the ring gear flange 25 relatively movable axially with respect to the intermediate wall 12a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
