<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic registration apparatus of a printer which can perform automatic registration using a relatively simple sensor system without necessity for making each printing unit print a mark used in the registration. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a conveyance mechanism for conveying a continuous sheet S for printing; a plurality of printing units U1 to U4 in individual drive forms provided on a conveyance path of the continuous sheet S; a sensor 17 arranged at an upstream side of a plate cylinder 14 of each of the printing units U1 to U4 and detecting a monochrome mark printed on the continuous sheet S; and a control part for performing the automatic registration by controlling a rotational phase of the plate cylinder 14 of the each of the printing units U1 to U4 on the basis of a rotational state of the plate cylinder 14 of the each of the printing units U1 to U4 when the mark is detected by the sensor 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
