摘要 <p>The robotic charging station (10) has a riser (14) coupled with a base plate (80) and extends transverse to the base plate. A robotic arm (12) extends from the riser and supports an end effector (16). The robotic arm moves the end effector in three degrees of motion. The end effector includes a number of electrical contacts configured to couple with a receptacle disposed on the electric vehicle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electric vehicle battery automatic charging method; and (2) a charging connector.</p>
