PURPOSE: A stopper unit is provided to easily and stably implement a continuous casting process and minimize the amount of residual molten steel in a tundish. CONSTITUTION: A stopper unit(100) comprises a stopper body(110) and a stopper cover(120) and opens and closes an inlet of a nozzle for injecting molten metal. The stopper body is extended in a longitudinal direction and moved up and down so that an end thereof opens and closes the inlet of the nozzle. The stopper cover with a through hole, which the stopper body passes through, surrounds the sidewall of the stopper body and is moved up and down along the length of the stopper body. |
